STAYING ALIVE WITH FULLNESS OF LIFE . .

So many people today have lost their enthusiasm. At one time they were excited about their future, pursuing their dreams but along the way, they hit some road blocks. Things didn't work out, they didn't get the promotions they wanted, their relationship failed, they went through health issues and now that’s taking the Will out of them. They are just going through the motions of life. They are breathing but they are not leaving. They are alive, but they are not full of life. What happened? They quite dreaming. They quite pursuing their goals, they lost their purpose. If we are going to stay alive our whole life, we need to keep our dreams in front of us. You have to have a reason to get up each day. You have to know you are a person of destiny. You have a purpose. You didn't just accidentally show up on planet earth.

God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. He has an assignment for you. There is something God wants you to accomplish. Somebody needs what you have, somebody needs your love, somebody needs your encouragement, and somebody needs your smile. You were created to make a difference. To impact our society, to make this world a better place. On the inside of you right now, there are dreams and desires put there by the creator of the universe. But overtime, life will try to push those dreams down, just little by little, with disappointments here and there and if we are not careful we look up and not pressing forward any more. We are then letting opportunities pass us by. We are not believing to rise any higher. And what the problem is? We are allowing life to wither us. Just like a leaf that falls from a tree, it doesn't wither over night, but gradually, it gets worse and worse until it’s totally withered away.

In the scriptures, Jesus talks to this man, he doesn't give us his name, nor what he does, but simply tells us the man with the withered hand. It’s interesting, this man can talk, walk, he had friends, but his hands where withered. That was symbolic. It means, he couldn’t hold on to anything. Life was passing him by. What he used to reach for, what he used to be passionate about, now he just sat back and accepted it. After all he had an excuse, his hands were withered. That’s what can happen in life, we start out strong, vibrant, we are excited about our dreams, passionate about our feature, but because of disappointments, setbacks and failures, life slowly tries to wither us, and if we are not careful we begin to think, our dreams are never going to come to pass, we develop this wrong mind-sets. But I love what Jesus said about this man, he didn’t have to confront him, he didn’t say I feel sorry for you nor you have had a tough life, Jesus asked him to do something that he could not do. He said “Stretch forth your hand” that man had to make a decision, was he going to take a step of faith and shake off past disappointment and believe he could do it? Or was he going to shrink back and start making excuses? He could have come out with all kind of excuses that would have kept him, right where he was. But this man was bold enough to believe that God could restore him. He believed that God could give him a new beginning. He did his part, he stretched out his hands and instantly, he was made whole.

Some of you today, you breathing, but you are not really leaving. You have lost your enthusiasm, you are not pursuing your goals, maybe like him, you have tried and failed, you gone through some disappointment, but you got to get your fire back, life may have tried to wither you, but God is saying, stretch forth your hand. Dare to do something that you haven’t done before, stretch into a new level, stretch into a new anointing, stretch into a new way of thinking, enlarge your vision, get rid of any wrong mind-set, maybe your parents, coach or teacher told you, you will never be successful, you don’t just have what it takes, don’t believe those lies, stretch forth your hands. Maybe your own taught are telling you, it will never ever going to get better, stretch forth your hands, get a new vision for your life, stare up the dreams that God has put inside of you. God is saying this is your year of doing something you have never done before, this is your year of breaking free from every addiction, this is your to step into supernatural opportunities. God says in Isaiah 43, Behold I am doing a new thing, God wants to do something new in your life. You may have tried and failed several times, but God is saying, I am still in control, I still have a plan, you are in the palm of my hand and as long as you believe, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!..
