The rich ruleth over the poor and the borrower is the servant of the lender - Proverbs 22:1

The scripture above tells us that the borrower is a servant of the lender. It follows, therefore, that borrowing leads to financial slavery. Avoiding indebtedness is a secret of the overflow.

Five Facts and corrective measures to the lifestyle of indebtedness are:

1. Borrowing establishes a person's life in servant-hood as a status.
The borrower is the servant of the lender. So, every time you are enjoying borrowing, you have confirmed yourself as a lifetime servant. To borrow is to say, "I do not want to rise beyond where I am. I want to continue to be a borrower and a beggar."
