Handling Life’s Challenges – Part 2 Dr. Paul Enenche

Contd...
4) Pray in the Spirit; there is nothing that takes the devil by surprise like the language of the Holy Ghost. Praying in the Holy Ghost is secrete for dissolving mysteries. Issues about yourself you cannot understand can melt by concentrated speaking in tongues. “Praying in the Language you don’t understand is a measure secrete of handling situations you don’t understand.” When the devil throws at you a situation you don’t understand, reply in the language the devil does not understand.  The word says in
1st Cor. 14: 2 for anyone who speaks in a tongue, does not speak to men but to God. Indeed no one understands him; He utters mysteries with his spirit.
This is like the spirit of man speaking with the spirit of God, so they bypass the devil. Speaking in tongues is not just a religious language, it is a spiritual warfare that guarantees answered prayers.

5) Be established under pastoral cover:  Hosea 12:13 “By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt and by a prophet was he preserved” “Submission to authority is the key to termination of
Captivity” God visits people using the face of their Sheppard. When God was speaking to Samuel, it was the voice of Eli he was hearing. Running from church to church does not help anybody. Anywhere you find yourself and you are sure God has placed you there, be planted there.

6) Be a giver: “Your generosity towards God is an attack on the adversities of life”. Act 20:35 it is more blessed to give than to receive. Giving provokes blessings especially giving towards God. If you are giving to generosity, you escape adversity. Scriptural examples of generosity is that of the woman who was about to eat her last meal, and then Elijah came and the woman said I have only one last food to eat and die, and Elijah said, give it to me first and that meal never finished.

1 Kings 17:14 "For thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain on the face of the earth.'"

Another was barren for years, she gave Elisha shelter and the Elisha asked what your need is? And she said I don’t have a need, and then he discovered she was barren. After prophesying, the barrenness died because of generosity.

2 Kings 4: 14 - "And he said, “What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered, “Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.” 15 He said, “Call her.” And when he had called her, she stood in the doorway. 16 And he said, “At this season, about this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord, O man of God; do not lie to your servant.”

Another was a man who built a church. His servant was sick and when they called Jesus, before Jesus could speak the Elders of the Jews said, “he loved us he even built us a church.” Jesus said ok, let us go and heal his servant.
Luke 7: 5-6 "for he loves our nation and it was he who built us our synagogue."

7) Be a servant of God: Exodus 25:23 "But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.” “Those who serve God dedicatedly are too busy for God to be enslave by the devil.”
